Eglė Pavydė
Egle Pavyde Director Business Development and Marketing at clinical, regulatory and pharmacovigilance solution provider Biomapas. Egle is leading business development activities from clinical trial perspective, with key focus on early phase clinical research (Phase I-II), therefore dealing mostly with small to mid-size Biotech and Pharma companies, supporting them with clinical development activities. She has a thorough understanding of the Biotech industry and the main challenges companies are facing during their path from laboratory to patient.
Being a Pharmacist by training, Egle Pavyde has continued her studies as a PhD candidate in stem cell research, where she gained in-depth experience in pre-clinical research and drug development, especially related to advanced therapy medicinal products. Egle did her PhD internship in Pittsburgh University, Stem Cell Research Center. She is a co-author of 5 scientific publications. After working for 7 years in scientific research and 3 years in academia as a lecturer of Pharmacology, Egle took an opportunity to join Biomapas as an interim Head of Regulatory Affairs Department, prior to her role in Business Development. Managing personnel and a number of different complexity projects, she has gained valuable knowledge of marketing authorization of medicinal products and medical devices and related regulatory aspects.
