Rima Balanaskiene, the founder, owner and CEO of Aconitum UAB. Aconitum is one of the leading companies in the Lithuanian food supplement and pharmaceuticals market, it has created more than 500 innovative medicines and food supplements, actively exporting products to more than 61 countries worldwide, a multiple award winner in categories  “Product of the Year” and “Exporter of the year”. In 2016, Rima Balanaskiene won the Women’s Business Award, set up by the Ministry of Economy, and in 2018 became the first Eastern European entrepreneur to join the finale of the Prize for Women Innovators 2018 contest organized by the EU Commission. Since 2006 – President of the National Pharmaceutical Industry Association, host of radio show „Health time“ and mother of two children. Moreover, this year Rima was a finalist in the “CPhI Pharma Awards 2020”, nominated as “Excellence in Pharma: CEO of the Year” and was the only candidate from the Baltic States. “CPhI Pharma Awards” are dedicated to acknowledging notable pharmaceutical companies from all over the world.
