Rita Sakus
Rita Sakus started her career in telecommunications competitive intelligence where she quickly transitioned over to corporate venture capital following completion of an MBA degree focused on high technology in Boston. She worked on investments in Israel. Europe and the USA. She moved to Vilnius, Lithuania and taught venture capital and start-up seminars at ISM, and was managing director of Transcom WorldWide growing one of the first international outsource centres in Lithuania. Her career path has been varied from a scuba diving instructor in the Caribbean to angel investor and corporate as well as start-up board member. She has recently been leading a few syndicates for innovative start-ups in Lithuania. In non-pandemic times, she loves to travel and visit family in Canada. She has recently successfully completed programs at Harvard University’s School of Business and Board Chair courses at Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance.
